Every year on my birthday Nick and I take a little day trip somewhere to explore some local history. Last year we went to Harpers Ferry, and this year we decided to venture to another president's house - so we paid Montpelier a visit, the home of James Madison. It was a fun day - and the best part of trips around my birthday, snow!!! (And yes . . . these are from January!).
